Dragon Bridge - New symbol of Da Nang

Dragon Bridge in Da Nang is an icon of the prime future. The main idea is once sleepy town has its eye set on. As the most development central coast and one of the country's rising economic success stories, Da Nang is spending big on infrastructure to bring in tourism dollars.

The Dragon Bridge with six-lane bridge is illuminated at night by 5,000 LED lights, reaching over the Han River in Da Nang, Vietnam. Construction of the bridge began on 19 July 2009 and opened to traffic on March 29, 2013, it not only gives Da Nang an instantly recognizable landmark, it's done much for the city's development in a remarkably short time. Da Nang is a nice destination, and the bridge adds identity to the city. After that, Dragon Bridge become new Da nang symbol 

Along side with 666m lengthen, 37.5m wide and has six lanes for traffic, The Rong, or Dragon Bridge connects the main road to the airport and My Khe beach in Son Tra peninsula. Especially, the lighting design of the Dragon Bridge, 500m-long body of the dragon was built up by using five 1.2m arched steel pipes weighing 1,000 tonnes in total, won the Best Citation Award from the International Association of Lighting Designers at a ceremony in Las Vegas, US on June 4. - Photo courtesy of the ASA Studio Compan. Dragon which is lit up beautifully, also breathes fire and sprays water, and has become Da Nang's new landmark. It is a thing of pride for locals and attracts more tourists to the city.

Dragon Bridge was inaugurated in 2015, is in the shape of a dragon. The dragon's head, inspired by the stone dragon design from the Ly Dynasty with a tail in the shape of a lotus, is designed to spit fire on Saturday and Sunday nights and spray water during the daytime. The bridge sitting on the central coastline of Vietnam. In Saturday and Sunday evenings, fire and water spraying shows are held on the bridge to make it  the Dragon Bridge is stunning at every angle of view. Coming here take an hour's flight from both the political capital of Hanoi and the over crowded economic hub of Ho Chi Minh City.

Dragon Bridge must to visit in Da Nang Tour because each night at about 9 p.m, people gather in this plaza and line the sides of the bridge to watch the dragon's head spout fire and water while various-colored LED lights illuminate the dragon's head and body. The gas-powered flame and the spout of water are each given their own three-minute show.The Dragon Bridge  likely to earn entries in the Guinness Book of World Records as, respectively, the largest steel dragon of its kind in the world and the biggest bridge bearing pads in the world.  Besides , many parts of these bridges are being entered for Guinness world records for their scale and construction techniques.
